Countermeasures for tower crane inclination caused by uneven foundation settlement
2.1 corrective steps
1) calculate the thickness of pad required on the supporting leg of tower crane by using the similar triangle principle.
2) according to the shape of the supporting leg section, prepare 6 pieces of gaskets with the outline size slightly larger than the shape of the section for the two supporting legs requiring jacking, among which 4 pieces are 6mm thick and 2 pieces are 1.5mm thick.
In order to conveniently insert the gasket between the standard joint and the supporting leg, each gasket can be decomposed into four parts,

3) make jacking iron shoes as shown in figure 2. The iron shoes should be able to bear the jacking load without deformation and can be conveniently installed on the main limb of the standard section and can provide enough friction when matched with the standard section.
4) adjust the position of the variable amplitude trolley or lift a certain amount of load to balance the tower crane and ensure that the four legs are under pressure.
5) install the iron shoes on the main leg of a standard joint that needs to be padded, and loosen the connection bolt of the standard joint to a pad thickness (6mm). At the same time, loosen the bolt on the other supporting leg, so that the bolt has neither prestress nor clearance.
6) jack shall be slowly jacked up until there is a gap of 6mm between the standard section and the supporting leg. Insert a piece of gasket . At this time, the bolt shall have no prestress and no allowance.
7) install the iron shoes on the other side of the main leg of the standard section that needs to be padded. Jack should be well padded with wood.
Loosen the bolt to the clearance of 13.5mm, and slowly lift the jack until the clearance of 13.5mm appears in the standard section. At this time bolt should be no prestress, no allowance.

8) reinstall the iron shoes on the standard segment main limb of the first jacking, and add the remaining 2 spacers (6mm, 1.5mm).
9) tighten the connection bolts with two cushioned supporting legs to the specified pre-tightening force, and then loosen the bolts with two supporting legs on the other side one by one.
If there is a gap between the supporting legs and the standard joints, add the cushion according to the gap amount and then tighten the bolts.
10) use the theodolite to test the verticality of the tower body. After meeting the requirements, connect the pad with the supporting leg by spot welding.
2.2 safety precautions for deviation correction
1) formulate the deviation correction plan and safety technical measures, and introduce the deviation correction process, methods, steps and safety technical issues to drivers and operators in detail.
2) wind rope is set on the tower body.

3) when rectifying deviation, the weather shall be rainless and snowless, and the wind force shall not exceed grade 4.
4) after the balance of the tower crane is maintained, no further action is allowed. It is sure that all four legs are under pressure. It is forbidden to rectify deviation under unbalanced condition of tower crane.
5) loosen the clearance amount of connection bolts of each leg should be the same, do not loosen all the bolts or pull out the bolts.
6) a special person shall use the theodolite to observe the change of the vertical degree of the tower.
7) jacks must be padded with wood to prevent slipping.
8) the thickness of each pad is not easy to be too large to prevent deformation of the standard section structure.
It is better to prepare a certain number of pads with a thickness of 1mm and insert them at any time after the gap appears in the jacking, so that the gap between the supporting leg and the standard joint is maintained at about 1mm.
