1. During tower crane operation, there shall be sufficient working site, no obstacles within the boom boom rise and fall and turning radius, and sufficient lighting equipment for night operation.

2. Safety protection devices such as luffing indicator, moment limiter and various travel limit switches of tower crane must be complete, sensitive and reliable, and shall not be adjusted or removed at will. It is strictly prohibited to use the limit device instead of the operating mechanism for shutdown.


3. Before operation, it is necessary to have a comprehensive understanding of the surrounding environment, driving road, overhead power lines, buildings, component weight and distribution of the work site.


4. The operators and commanders of the tower crane must cooperate closely. The commanders must be familiar with the mechanical properties of the command. The operators shall strictly implement the signals of the commanders. If the signals are unclear or wrong, the operators can refuse to execute. The commander shall be responsible for the accident caused by command error.


5. When the operation room is far away from the ground and the command is difficult, two commanding personnel can be set up at a high place and on the ground, or effective contact methods can be used for command.

6. In case of severe weather such as gale above level 6 or heavy rain, snow, fog, etc., the operation shall be suspended.


7. During lifting operation, no personnel shall stay or pass under the heavy objects. It is forbidden to use tower crane to lift personnel.


8. It is strictly prohibited to use tower crane for inclined lifting, inclined pulling and lifting of heavy objects buried underground or coagulated on the ground. The concrete components or formwork on the construction site must be all loose before lifting. The crane must operate according to the specified lifting performance, and shall not overload or lift objects of unknown weight.


9. When lifting heavy objects, they shall be bound stably and firmly. It is not allowed to stack or hang sporadic objects on the heavy objects. Sporadic objects or articles must be lifted after being bound firmly with hanging cage or steel wire rope. The angle between the binding wire rope and the object shall not be less than 30 degrees.


10. When lifting the full load or approaching the full load, the heavy object shall be lifted 20-50cm from the ground to be stopped for inspection: the stability of the crane, the reliability of the brake, the stability of the heavy object and the firmness of the binding.


11. The hoisting and landing speed of the crane shall be uniform, and it is strictly prohibited to brake suddenly. Turn left and right smoothly. Do not make reverse action before the rotation is not stopped.


12. The steel wire rope used by the crane shall have the technical certificate of the manufacturer as the use basis. If there is no certificate, it can only be used after passing the test. The steel wire ropes on the drum shall be firmly connected and arranged in order without kinking or deformation, and all steel wire ropes shall be free of joints.


13. After the work is completed, turn the boom to the wind direction, and move the hook to the position 2-3m away from the top of the boom.
