I. selection of installation location of tower crane

All factors affecting the safe operation of the tower crane shall be taken into consideration in the selection of installation location, with special attention to the following points

A) bearing and adhesion conditions of foundation

B) other risk factors at and near the site

C) the influence of wind force in working or non-working conditions

D) meet the requirements of installation, erectionspace and transportation channel

Bearing and adhesion condition of foundation

The designee shall ensure that the foundation bearing capacity and attachments at the installation site are capable of bearing the loads imposed by the tower cranes in working and non-working conditions. When the crane is installed close to the foundation of an existing or upcoming building, the designee shall ensure that the foundation has been treated in accordance with the design requirements.

During installation or use, when the foundation near the tower crane is affected by other construction, the designer shall be consulted in time to maintain the whole or part of the tower crane foundation. Fixed foundations shall be designed by professional engineers. When the foundation of the design requires lowering the independent height of the tower crane, the maximum allowed independent height shall be clearly marked in the design document and be ensured to be carried out according to it.

Rail base

Track selection and laying shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and GB 5144 requirements. Materials are not allowed to be stored on the track (inside). It is recommended to adopt enclosure enclosure for the whole track range to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering.
