Notice for use of tower crane wire rope
1. In the process of using the tower crane wire rope, the wire rope should be prevented from looping, kinking, bending or sticking to sundries, and from friction with machinery or other sundries.
2. After the tower crane is installed, the tower crane wire rope shall be lubricated before use and greased with graphite grease. The lubrication of the tower crane wire rope shall be conducted according to the crane lubrication table.
3. When lifting molten or hot metals, acid solutions, explosives and inflammables, the number of broken wires of tower crane wire rope will be scrapped by half.
Standard for scrapping steel wire rope of tower crane
The steel wire rope of tower crane is not allowed to have an indefinite life, which shall be scrapped under any of the following circumstances:
A. Tower crane wire rope 6 19 d(d wire rope diameter) has more than 5 broken wires in the length of 6d, and more than 10 broken wires in the length of 30d.
B. Tower crane wire rope 6 37-d (d wire rope diameter) has more than 10 broken wires in the length of 6d, and more than 19 broken wires in the length of 30d.
C. The steel wire ropes of tower crane should be scrapped even if the number of broken wires does not exceed 5 within the 6d length.
D. Although the tower crane wire rope is not broken, the tower crane wire rope wear reaches 40% of its diameter, or the tower crane wire rope is reduced by 7% or more than the nominal diameter, or the tower crane wire rope is obviously bent, etc..
E. Tower crane steel wire rope loses its normal shape and is deformed, such as wave, cage distortion, rope strand extrusion, steel wire extrusion, partial enlargement of rope diameter, kinking, partial reduction of rope diameter, partial flattening and bending.
F. The steel wire rope diameter of the tower crane is subjected to special thermal effects, when the color of the outside can be recognized.
