General knowledge of tower crane: technical inspection before, during and after installation of tower crane. Work site inspection; key inspection shall be conducted after the installation of standard section, jacking jacket and rotary platform; key inspection shall be conducted after the installation of walking underframe, foundation section and ballast; key inspection shall be conducted after the installation of cab section and tower cap; key inspection shall be conducted after the installation of balance arm, lifting arm and balance weight.

1. Workplace inspection:
The surface flatness, concrete strength, location of embedded parts and setting of drainage ditch of the fixed foundation shall be checked, which shall meet the requirements.
2. After the installation of standard section, jack up jacket and rotary platform, the key inspection shall be carried out;
(1) whether the model of the standard section (refer to the reinforced section or multiple standard sections) conforms to the specifications of the original manufacturer; the pre tightening force of the standard section and the foundation section bolt shall conform to the technical specifications.
(2) whether the relative position of jacking jacket and standard section meets the installation process requirements; whether the direction of the introduced trolley is correct. The connection between jack up jacket and rotary platform shall be firm and reliable, and the pre tightening force of connecting bolts shall meet the technical requirements.
3. After the installation of walking underframe, foundation joint and ballast, the following inspection shall be focused on:

(1) the clamping degree of rail clamp shall be firm and reliable.
(2) the brake of the traveling mechanism shall be complete and in good appearance.
(3) the horizontal pull rod, diagonal pull rod and fixed pin shaft shall be installed completely, in correct position and in conformity with the regulations.
(4) the installation position (including horizontal and vertical deviation) of foundation joint and underframe shall be within the allowable range, the bolts or pin shafts shall be complete, and the fastening shall meet the requirements.
(5) the installation position of the weight is correct, and the weight is in accordance with the specifications of the original manufacturer.
4. After the installation of cab section and tower cap, the following inspection shall be focused on:
(1) the connection between tower cap and cab, cab and slewing platform shall be firm and reliable, and the pre tightening force of connecting bolt shall meet the technical requirements.
(2) check the plane composed of all walking wheels and track supporting points of the traveling trolley, and the non parallelism of the plane of the slewing bearing installed on the traveling underframe shall not be greater than 1 / 1000.
(3) the Perpendicularity Error of the axis of the tower body and the bearing surface shall not be greater than 4 / 1000.
5. After the installation of the balance arm, lifting arm and balance weight, the inspection shall be focused on:
(1) check whether the connection between the balance arm, lifting arm and tower body is reliable, whether the connection pin shaft is free of movement, and whether the fastening meets the technical requirements.

(2) check whether the connection between the balance arm and each section of the boom is secure and reliable, and the fastening shall conform to the technical regulations.
(3) whether safety devices such as guardrail and retainer are complete, firm and reliable.
(4) check whether the cables (or pull rods) of the balance arm and lifting arm are installed correctly, the stress is even, and the connection and fastening shall conform to the technical regulations.
(5) whether the weight, installation position and fixation of the balance weight meet the technical requirements.
(6) check the power supply voltage of the cab, which shall be 380% ± 5%.
(7) test run the hoisting, luffing, slewing, traveling (if necessary) and other working mechanisms, which shall be stable without abnormal noise and sensitive and reliable braking.
(8) the safety limit protection device shall be tested, and the action shall be sensitive and reliable.
