When the tower crane hoists large parts, the position of the hoisting point must be determined reasonably. 1. Balance of the structure to be lifted. For long structural parts, such as lifting arm and balance arm, the test hoisting can be conducted at the ground mouth to determine the reasonable hoisting point.
2. Structural strength at lifting point and fixation of sling connection. If the strength of lifting point is not enough, the structural parts will be damaged, and the situation in individual eyes will cause all structural parts to be damaged. The sling shall not slip or fall off at the lifting point, and individual sling shall be connected to the node of the structure to be lifted, and shall not be connected to the middle of the main chord and the web member. A cushion block shall be added between the sling and the edges and corners of the object.

Standard sections of different sections of tower cranes: some standard sections of tower cranes are divided into two or more specifications according to the strength of members. The shapes of standard sections of different specifications are almost the same, only the wall thickness of the main chord is different, which is difficult to distinguish in appearance. After the use height of the tower crane is determined, the detailed model identification of the standard section on the tower body shall be confirmed according to the requirements of the use explanation when adding the section of the device box, and it shall not be mixed.
Configuration of balance weights with different arm length: for tower cranes that can change arm length, the component of balance weight is changed according to different arm length. Attention shall be paid to this point during installation, and the balance weights shall be installed correctly according to the number, specification and position specified in the operation manual. If the installation position of the balance weight is not accurate, the balance moment deviation between the boom and the balance arm will be too large, which will easily lead to the instability of the tower crane.
