Tower crane is composed of three mechanisms: lifting, slewing and luffing. The three mechanisms are composed of large metal components such as lifting arm, tower body, turntable, bearing seat, balance arm, underframe, tower tip, etc. Besides, there are also indispensable tower crane accessories, which are lifting parts. Its tower crane accessories include pulley, slewing ring, hook and brake, etc.
This article explains the lifting components:
First of all, in the tower crane accessories, the largest number, strict technical requirements and complex specifications are steel wire ropes. According to different functions, the steel wire ropes for tower crane are: hoisting steel wire rope, luffing steel wire rope, boom pulling rope, balance arm pulling rope, trolley pulling rope, etc. The characteristics of the steel wire rope are: the strength of the whole rope is high, the cross section of the whole rope is the same size, the strength is the same, the self weight is light, it can bear the vibration load, the elasticity is large, it can be wound into a disk, it can balance the movement at high speed, and it has no noise, after wear, its outer skin will produce many burrs, which is easy to find and easy to handle in time. The wire rope is usually made up of a strand of fine steel wire with a diameter of 0.3-0.4mm and then twisted into a rope.
Secondly, it is the luffing trolley of tower crane. It is a necessary part of horizontal boom tower crane. The whole set of luffing trolley is composed of frame structure, steel wire rope, pulley, traveling wheel, guide wheel, steel wire rope supporting wheel, steel wire rope anti falling roller, trolley traction rope tensioner and rope breaking protector. For the extra long horizontal boom (more than 50m in length), a maintenance basket shall be hung on one side of the luffing trolley, which can carry maintenance personnel to each maintenance point for maintenance. After the operation, the trolley drives back to the root of the boom, uncoupling the cradle and the luffing trolley, and fixing it at the special support on the boom structure.
