At present, the most commonly used structure of the lifting limiter is the force measuring ring, which is composed of the force measuring ring, guide pulley, limit switch and other components. It is characterized by compact volume, good performance and easy to adjust. Fo / 23B, qt80 and other tower cranes generally adopt various forms of this structure. One section of the force measuring ring is fixed on the support of the tower crane mechanism, and the other end is fixed on the guide pulley.
2. Working principle of tower crane lifting weight limiter
When the tower crane is lifting heavy objects, when the pulley is affected by the resultant force of the steel wire rope, the force is transmitted to the force measuring ring, and the deformation of the force measuring ring is in a certain proportion to the load. According to the lifting load, the force transmitted by the pulley is also different. The shell of the force measuring ring is deformed along with the stress. The metal strip in the force measuring ring is fixed to the shell of the force measuring ring and extends along with the stress deformation of the shell. At this time, adjust the distance between the adjusting bolt fixed on the metal strip and the limit switch according to the load situation. When the load exceeds the rated lifting weight, the limit switch will act, so as to cut off the power supply of the lifting mechanism, so as to limit the overload of the lifting weight The purpose of the system.

3. Function of tower crane lifting weight limiter
When the lifting load exceeds the rated load, the lifting limiter can output electrical signal, cut off the lifting control circuit, and give an alarm to prevent the tower crane from overloading.
The current national standard safety regulations for tower crane stipulates that: the tower crane shall be installed with a lifting limiter. If there is a lifting display device, its numerical error shall not be greater than 5% of the actual value. When the lifting capacity is greater than the maximum rated value of the corresponding gear and less than 110% of the rated value, the power supply in the rising direction of the lifting mechanism shall be cut off, but it can move in the falling direction.
