Precautions for the installation of electric lines of tower crane: some Tower Cranes use three-phase four wire system for power supply, and the zero line is not connected with the tower body. The tower crane shall be equipped with special ground wire for reliable grounding, and the grounding resistance shall not be greater than 4 Ω.

After the installation of the tower crane electrical line and before power on, the megger shall be used to detect the insulation resistance to the ground of each component. The insulation resistance of the motor shall not be less than 0.5m Ω, and the insulation resistance between the conductors and the ground shall not be less than 1m Ω.
Power supply:
The sectional area of the power supply cable of the tower crane shall not be less than 16mm2 (copper wire) and the voltage drop shall not be more than 5%. Special distribution panel shall be set as far as possible.
Electrical circuit maintenance and precautions:
1. In case of electrical failure, please refer to the electrical schematic diagram and wiring diagram for maintenance. The basic performance of the replaced electrical parts shall be consistent.
2. The contactor and breaker shall be maintained regularly, the dirt on the iron core's closing surface shall be removed, the electric contact shall be checked for good contact, and the fixing bolts shall be checked for looseness.
3. The linkage platform shall pay attention to rain proof and close windows after work to prevent electrical short circuit fault.
